[Mesquitelist] Selecting only particular codon positions in Mesquite

Dear all,

I have an alignment of a protein coding marker, where I have defined 1st,
2nd and 3rd codon positions. Now I'm trying to select only 1st, 2nd or 3rd
positions in this alignment in Mesquite, to create separate matrices
containing each position separately.

Does anyone one know if it's possible to do it, and if so, how?

Any help is most welcome!
