[Mesquitelist] Problem setting the maximum number of character states in Mesquite

Does your character actually have all 46 character states in it as scored from the taxa?

0-9, A-Z, a-z minus ILOilo is 56 character states.

What is needed is that the states actually scored for the taxa are contiguous. I'd be happy to look at your matrix if you want to send it.
