[Mesquitelist] Unable to trim branch support values

Hello all,
After building a tree with PhyML, and saving it in NEXUS format, I'm having
trouble in Mesquite trimming the branch support values to two decimal
places. Mesquite displays the aLRT values associated with each node up to
10 or 11 decimal places. I want to edit that to show just two decimal
places, or to show the branch support as a percentage. Nothing I have tried
works. Under the "Tree" menu, neither "Node-Associated Values" nor
"Node-Associated Text" works--both options tell me there is no text and no
values associated with the nodes--when clearly there are support values
associated with the nodes (and displayed with each node). I have also tried
Drawing>Branch Length Labels, on the theory that perhaps Mesquite is
treating the aLRT support values as branch lengths, but it is not.
I believe Mesquite is interpreting my support values as Branch Names,
because when I uncheck "show branch names," the support values disappear.
But I do not know how to edit these branch "names." The user guide explains
how to edit the supports when the supports are Branch Length Labels, but not
when the supports are being treated as Branch Names. Can anyone point me in
the right direction?
Many thanks,
